CANTON, Mo. - The Eagles were unable to find the net for the second consecutive match as they fell to the Culver-Stockton Wildcats in Canton, Mo. on Wednesday, 3-0.

The Eagles (0-14, 0-8) struggled to figure out the stingy defense of the Culver-Stockton Wildcats (8-4-1, 4-2-1) on Wednesday evening, taking just two shots on goal and managing just six shots. Only Autumn Saulsbury took more than one shot for the Eagles as they were shut out for the ninth time this season.

With the shutout, Culver-Stockton has now given up just 13 goals in 13 matches this season to go with five shutouts.

Eagle goalie Stacey Schimmel played well despite giving up three goals, making nine saves in Wednesday's loss. She has now made 58 saves on the season, which is the most on the team. Fellow goalkeeper Shea Myer is second on the team with 41 on the year.

The Eagles will remain on the road for their next match, which will take place on Saturday. They will be in Lamoni, Iowa to take on the Graceland Yellowjackets at 6 p.m.
