2020 Fan Information

Avila University Athletics Fan and Ticket Policies

Avila University and the Athletic Department have announced their updated fan and attendance ticketing policy for the 2020-21 season of competition, effective Friday, December 4, 2020.

For soccer matches and football games, all seating will be on the hill located on the west side of the Zarda Family Multisport Complex. Fans are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and/or a blanket to sit on in the designated area. There will be a $10 charge for football parking but admission to the game is free. Student seating will be located in the South endzone. Students will enter on the west side of the Z, near the press box, and be required to show a valid Avila student ID to enter. Masks and social distancing will be mandatory in all seating areas.

Fans will be permitted at Avila baseball and softball games as well, but the same guidelines will be in play: in compliance with local and national COVID-19 recommendations, masks and social distancing will be mandatory at all games at The Z in Spring 2021.

Attendance inside Mabee Fieldhouse will be limited to 350 total spectators. Visiting fans are permitted, but tickets for all fans will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets cost $8 apiece and can be purchased with cash only upon entrance to Mabee Fieldhouse.

Avila students, faculty and staff possessing a valid Avila ID will still be permitted entry and will be required to sign in upon entry to Mabee Fieldhouse. Other attendance will be restricted to players, coaches, staff, essential personnel, and guests of Avila players.

As always, for those who cannot attend a game in person, live stats and video will be available on the Avila Sports Network, which is located in the top right corner of our website. For volleyball and basketball games, an alternate live stream feed will be available on our YouTube page.

To aid in contract tracing efforts and to maximize safety of all fans in attendance, fans will need to provide contact information for every member of their party upon purchasing their sets of tickets. Fans attending the events will have their temperatures taken upon entrance to the fieldhouse. Those fans with temperatures that exceed 100.4 degrees will not be allowed to enter the event. While in the building masks must be worn by all fans. Your ticket will only be good for the event purchased. For example, if it is a doubleheader for basketball, you may not stay for both games, unless you have purchased tickets to each individual game. For the KCAC volleyball tri-matches, your ticket will allow you to stay for all three matches that day.

All ticket sales will be final and no refunds will be given.
