Athletic Facilities
Mabee Fieldhouse (1980, expanded 2001)
Mabee Fieldhouse contains the gymnasium, equipment and locker rooms for men and women, weight room, walking track, fitness center, multipurpose room and athletic offices. Mabee Fieldhouse hosts all Avila basketball, volleyball and wrestling home events. The Fieldhouse is open to all Avila students, faculty and staff.
Pavilion (2011)
The Pavilion was constructed in 2011 to add more space for Avila's athletic teams to practice, as well as intramural sports and other activities campus wide. The Pavilion houses a basketball court and a batting cage for baseball and softball.
Zarda Multisport Complex (1991, renovated 2011)
The Zarda Multisport Complex was originally built in 1991 for Avila's baseball, soccer and softball teams. Following a 2011 renovation, "The Z" became home to the Eagles' football program in addition to baseball, soccer and softball.
Fitness Center (2013, remodeled 2014)
The Avila fitness center, constructed in 2013 inside Mabee Fieldhouse, currently houses 24 pieces of commercial grade fitness equipment, including four stationary bikes, three arc trainers, two treadmills, two weight benches with dumbbells and multiple machines that help strengthen the whole body. The fitness center is open to all Avila students, faculty and staff members.
