Bio
Zach Welch is in his second season as Avila's Sports Information Director in 2025-26. Welch came to Avila after spending the two years in the PR department for the ECHL's Kansas City Mavericks. Prior to his time with the Mavericks, he held public relations positions with the Washington Wizards, Chicago Bulls, Green Bay Packers, Los Angeles Rams and Kansas City Chiefs following his graduation from UMKC in 2015.
Welch and his wife, Veronica, reside in Kansas City.
