2025 Avila University Dance Team Audition Information
Be a part of the Avila dance team, winners of DTU national championships three years in a row!
The Glitter Girls are looking for more dancers to join their storied program. To apply, follow the steps below to contact head coach Cindy Freeman, and you could become the next Glitter Girl!

Dance Team Audition Information
Prospective dancers should complete the following steps to be considered for the 2025-26 Dance Team:
- STEP 1: Complete a recruiting questionnaire. Dance Recruiting | Avila University Athletics (avilaathletics.com)
- STEP 2: Send videos to allow the coaching staff to get to know you as a person and a dancer! We will review these videos within 72 business hours upon receiving them. You can email the videos to Coach Freeman at cindy.freeman@avila.edu or text them to her at 816-589-5413. Once we have reviewed your videos, we will contact you with the next step in our audition process.
- STEP 3: Meet us in person (where possible)! We love to meet dancers on campus or at recruiting events.
- STEP 4: Follow us on social media! We post all up to date information regarding on-campus visits as well as national competitions, combines and events that we will be attending here.
