BEST AND WEST NAMED TO ALL-KCAC BOWLING TEAMS

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Continuing to build on their strong seasons, Avila bowling has two representatives on the 2025-26 All-KCAC Teams. Sophomore Davis Best was named All-KCAC First Team on the men’s side. On the women’s side, freshman Fiona West was selected to the All-KCAC Second Team.

In 30 games this season, Best finished fifth in the conference with a 200.166 average, 0.427 points behind the fourth-best score.

"Davis had a great year, bowling mostly out of the anchor position,” said Head Coach Paul Wolf. “He is a great team player and proved he can handle pressure when his teammates needed him.”

One of the strongest freshman performers in the conference, West had the sixth-highest pinfall average this season, averaging 184.27 across 37 games.

"Fiona had a very consistent freshman season with one All-Tournament selection, two top-10 finishes and three top-25 finishes,” Wolf notes. “We are excited to see what the next three years look like for her."

Best and West each led the Eagles at two separate competitions this season. in December’s Cougar Clash, West was selected to the All-Tournament team after finishing third in the competition.

All-KCAC Bowling teams are determined by athletes with the five highest averages at the events all of the conference schools competed in are named First Team All-KCAC, while the athletes with the next five highest averages are named Second Team All-KCAC.

Best and West’s honors make them the first All-KCAC selections for the Avila bowling program since the 2023-24 season.
