M. Golf Preview: Match play vs. Haskell
Kansas City, MO - The men's golf team will take a break from typical tournament play this weekend when they take on the Haskell men's golf team in match play in Bonner Springs, Kan.
The two teams will square off at Sunflower Hills Golf Course in Bonner Springs, Kan. beginning at 2 p.m. It will be Avila's first match play event in more than three years.
The Eagles are coming off of back-to-back seventh place finishes to start the season in tournament play, most recently at the CMU Fall Invitational in Boonville, Mo. earlier this week.
Freshman Josh Berze had the highest finish for the Eagles in Boonville, and will look to build some consistency on Saturday in Bonner Springs. Seniors Jackson Gurley and Taylor Livingston have also put together a couple of nice rounds this season, and will look to get locked in on Saturday.
