OTTAWA, Kan. – On a crisp fall night at AdventHealth Field, Avila fell to KCAC rival Ottawa, 7-0.
The Braves had a trio of multi-goal scorers on the night. Ottawa scored three first-half goals and added four more in the second half to take the victory. The Braves totaled 29 shots compared to Avila's five.
Seven total yellow cards were handed out in the contest and 20 fouls were called between the two teams.
Malcolm Goswell led the Eagles with two shots in 27 minutes on the pitch.
Avila is back at The Z on Saturday for Senior Day, with kickoff slated for 2:30 PM.
