HILLSOBORO, Kan. – With a 2-1 victory at Tabor on Saturday, Avila men's soccer recorded its third conference win of the season, the most in a single-season in its KCAC history.

Avila senior Vincent Escott opened the scoring in the 28^th minute. The goal was Escott's team-leading fifth of the season.

In the 59^th minute, Avila took a 2-0 lead after an unassisted goal from Sam Kanda.

Tabor got on the board late in the game, but were unable to equalize as Avila returned to Kansas City with a 2-1 victory.

The win gives Avila back-to-back victories on the season, its first time with consecutive wins since the 2018-19 season.

Avila has tied last season's win total. With another victory, it will match the program's highest win total since the 2018-19 season.

Avila will look to make it three-straight wins when they return to The Z on Wednesday to take on Friends at 2:30 PM.
