MEN’S TENNIS PICKS UP FIRST WIN IN PROGRAM HISTORY OVER SOUTHWESTERN

WINFIELD, Kan. – Less than a month after the women's program picked up their first victory in program history, Avila men's tennis made history in their win over Southwestern – the first for the program in its infancy.

Junior Robert Davies had the strongest performance of the Eagle men, winning both doubles matches on the day and dominating his singles match (6-1, 6-1) against Southwestern.

Dominic Lunn – Davies' doubles partner – also won his singles and doubles matches versus Southwestern. His singles match was a solid 7-3, 3-6, 8-4 victory.

On the women's side versus Southwestern, Kylee Bragaw and Ava Healy both won their singles match, while Tia Wilsher, Alaeyah Chleborad and Kylee Norris won their singles matches via forfeit.

Both teams will be back in action on Saturday at Tabor beginning at 10 AM.
