BOWLING COMPETES HARD AT NAIA WEST REGIONAL

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Another weekend in Lawrence, Kan., awaited the Avila bowling program, wrapping up their two-day competition on Saturday with a positive showing at the NAIA West Regional.

After the opening day and five individual team games, the Avila men finished in the top-15 with an overall total of 4,661, while the women ended their Friday competition just outside the top-15 with a final tally of 3,975.

Sunday saw 25 Baker games for the two programs with the scores combined from Friday's totals.

The Avila women finished at No. 15 on the weekend with a total score of 5,557 and the men wrapped up their weekend at No. 14 with a 6,466 total.

Both programs are back on the lanes next Saturday and Sunday in Belleville, Ill., at the McKendree Match Games.
