BOWLING WRAPS UP REGULAR SEASON AT HOOSIER CLASSIC
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Avila men's and women's bowling put an end to their regular seasons on Saturday and Sunday at the 57th annual Hoosier Classic.
With nearly 80 teams competing on the men's side and more than 60 on the women's side, both programs competed well and finished in the middle of the pack.
Avila's women wrapped up at No. 36 and the men finished the weekend No. 32.
Additionally, in 15 Baker games, the Eagle men had a tournament average of 177.2 while the women averaged 162.2.
Individually, senior Max Sturgeon led the way for the men with a 205 tournament average, not far behind was Sebastian MacGregor at 204.
Beka Fielder on the women's side paced the program with a 197.4 tournament average, joined by freshman Fiona West at 193.8.
Both squads will head to Lawrence next weekend for the KCAC Championships beginning at 9 AM.
