W. Golf Preview: Virginia McCoy Intercollegiate
Kansas City, MO - The Avila women's golf team will look to build off of a strong performance at the A.W. Tillinghast two weeks ago when they play in the Virginia McCoy Intercollegiate on Monday and Tuesday in Parkville, Mo.
Dates: April 11th and 12th
Format: Eighteen holes of stroke play each day for a total of 36 holes.
Time: 10 a.m., Shotgun start
Field: Avila, Bethany, Fort Hays State, Iowa Central, Lyon, Ottawa, Park, Rockhurst, Southwestern, Sterling
Course: The Deuce at The National Golf Club is a Tom Watson design located in beautiful Parkville, Missouri. Rolling hills, lakes, and excellent playing conditions serve as the backdrop for this challenging course. Players must navigate through abundant trees and conquer large elevation changes in order to score. The Deuce is a par 70 layout playing at 5,813 yards.
