W. Golf: The Shootout at Sunflower Hills

Kansas City, MO - The women's golf team will play in their first match play event in their program's history on Saturday when they battle Park University in The Shootout at Sunflower Hills.

The Eagles did ultimately play in a match play event earlier this season at The Dominic, but the first round was tournament play before switching to match play in the final round.

Freshman Abby Clark made history in that event, becoming the first freshman in Avila history to win an event.

Sunflower Hills measures 5,838 yards from the white tee markers, at a par of 73, and resides in Bonner Springs, Kan.
