Avila women's wrestling had a successful day, with six placers in the nearly 200-entrant field.
The 2025 All-American, Alexis Hatfield, finished second in a tightly-contested 110-pound class. Hatfield went 2-1 on the day before a loss in the first-place match.
In the 160-pound class, Amitria McNack locked up third place with a 4-1 performance on the day.
The Eagles had four other placers in the popular December event, including Kylee Whalan (fifth, 103), Jennifer Lopez-Alvarado (fifth, 124), Chloe Taylor (sixth, 131) and Jaclyn Riedinger (fifth, 138).
